What a year for Taravella’s boys and girls golf team. Twin boys and twin girls playing this year.
Not one, not two, but three Cytrynowicz's are putting for par and birdie on the JPT golf team this season. The oldest of the trio, Jon is a junior, who has been playing for two years and hopes to play for a college team in the future. His sister's, twin freshmen, Katie and Kelly are following in their big brothers footstep's and also play a mean game of basketball and are regular backboards when it comes to tennis too. Coaching these three musketeers along with the rest of the Trojan's is Tom Daugirda. Coach Daugirda has seen a tremendous improvement in Jon's golf game from last year, which he contribute's to Jon's dad, who is a regular fixture at matches and athletic talent probably is in their genes, because their Mom is a former tennis teaching professional. Coach Daugirda believe's both the boy's and girl's teams have a good shot at going far this year and likes the fact that the Cytrynowicz's are a competive family with good sportsmanship.
The second set of twins playing on the boys team, Tim and Travis Fischer, are both freshmen. They are very competitive and have seen much improvement. Their father is a head golf professional at a private course in Boca Raton and has won golf championships in high school and at Florida State University. He has attended all the matches and has helped with logistics.
All the Taravella golf players, both boys and girls, possess great attitudes and sportsmanship. |
